What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I usually bid $300-400 for a day's worth of work. Otherwise it is by the sqft

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Bid is always first to make sure everything is set with material, money, and design. obviously the work itself is a big part. Changes are usually extra after I've started. All said and done customer is satisfied.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started in construction since 2017. I worked side by side with two general contractors separately.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was 17 and needed a job. I started out at the bottom being the grunt. I then realized I had a talent for detail especially with tile. Then I went on my own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've seen them all, but I have never had one that was upset with the quality of work I did.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I did a herringbone pattern in an entryway floor. black tiles about 6 in. × 12 in. and approximately 65 square feet. the tricky part was the previous floor was brick and I had to lay on top of that. I knocked it out in two days. The customer was amazed and it was my first time with herringbone.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for professionalism and quality. Sometimes cheaper doesn't mean better. But make sure you are getting what you pay for. Look for photos, ask a lot of questions

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Make sure you have a budget set. Square footage measured out so you know what you might be charged. When you want this done? give plenty of advance notice.
