What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are fair, honest, and reasonable. Estimates are free. We work closely with our customers to keep the cost of their project affordable, without cutting corners.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First step is scheduling an onsite visit, we walk thru and get as much information as possible as to what the project entails, we suggest or recommend any ideas that can help with the project, estimate is written up and is sent usually the same day. Follow up if needed. If estimate is accepted, we place the project on the schedule. We stay in contact with the customer throughout the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Lead Painter has been working in this field for over 25 years, starting from the bottom and worked his way up to crew lead. All experience and training was made hands on through all the jobs he’d done. Customer service, precise work and a trained eye for catching the little things that could be missed, are just some of his great traits.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started in this line of work back in 1998 a friend introduced him to his boss and he never looked back. He caught on fast and after working for several companies, decided to venture out on his own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Throughout the years we have worked with a variety of customers, from first timers to the very experienced. But no matter what level of knowledge a customer has regarding their project, we listen to what they are wanting and assist as best we can.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

This project involved several structures that needed paint. Garage, fence, home, and storage shed. The owner was an older gentleman and was just not able to do it himself even though he had done this type of work all his life. He was very happy with the finished project and we were even able to learn a few things from him as well, his tips of the trade. Project took about a week and a half.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Remember it’s your project, we are there to help you get it done so don’t be afraid to ask questions or express concerns. Also, look over all the estimates that you get carefully, a lower bid may not always be what you’re looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What colors, sheen, or brand paint you want? What’s your budget? Exterior projects are particular to the time of year, what’s your time frame?
