How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always been the go-to person for fixing things—whether it’s assembling furniture, troubleshooting IT issues, or handling home repairs. As a stay-at-home dad, I’ve spent years honing these skills, making sure everything in our home runs smoothly. Now, I’m excited to take that experience beyond my own four walls and help others with their projects. I refurnished a kids room over spring break so they could come home to a nice surprise.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ensure you clearly communicate your expectations to the provider. Do you anticipate them removing packing materials or the old items you’re replacing? What materials do you have, and what are the necessary supplies for the provider? Is there anything unusual that the provider should be aware of? By keeping your needs and expectations in mind, you enable the provider to price the job accurately.
