Introduction

We are a locally owned and operated company specializing in all aspects of commercial and residential HVAC cleaning since 1988. Our services encompass addressing odors, post-construction clean-up, and routine maintenance cleanings for individuals with allergies. We undertake challenging cleaning tasks that other companies are unable or unwilling to perform and boast an extensive track record of prestigious commercial duct cleanings and satisfied residential clients. The cleaning of air ducts is of paramount importance, particularly given factors such as pets, occupants with allergies or asthma, smoke, water contamination, and home renovation projects, which heighten the necessity for regular HVAC system cleaning. Clean air ducts yield numerous advantages, inclusive of enhanced indoor air quality. Our HVAC systems function as the lungs of our residences, drawing in contaminants and air pollutants that are recirculated multiple times daily. While soiled ducts may not inherently equate to unhealthy air, they can contribute to more significant health issues, particularly for individuals with respiratory conditions and allergies. In addition to improved indoor air quality, clean HVAC systems result in energy savings. A clean system operates with greater efficiency, thereby reducing energy consumption and enhancing cost-effectiveness.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At our company, we believe in transparent pricing with no hidden surprises or additional sales pitches. We'll ask you a few questions to understand your needs and provide you with an accurate price quote. If you're unsure about anything, we'll work together to figure it out.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
At our company, we understand that each customer is unique. We recognize that some customers may have more questions than others. Therefore, we are committed to providing clear explanations of our process and ensuring that you feel at ease every step of the way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Please take note of the following information: There are two individuals here. Matt, the owner, is here early in the morning and has been in Customer Service since his very first job at 15. Prior to owning Power Vac, he worked for the company, gaining extensive experience in cleaning commercial and residential air ducts, furnaces, boilers, and dryer vents. Matt is NADCA certified (ASCS) and has owned Power Vac since 1998. Mary has been with Power Vac since 1998 as well. She has been assisting customers in understanding their HVAC systems for years. Before joining Power Vac, Mary worked in a hospital providing patient care.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Mary: The work found me! I was unfamiliar with air duct cleaning until I started working for Power Vac. I helped on a few jobs myself so I was familiar with what I am talking about with my customers. I assisted on a few residential cleanings and had the pleasure of belly crawling under a church! Now that I have been in this business over 20 years, I feel confident in educating others on the importance of cleaning their air duct systems.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
ALL KINDS! From repeat customers, customers that are new to having a duct system, brand new home owners, customers who didn't know they should have their ducts cleaned, to people who have designed their own duct work! Whether you know anything about your heating and ventilation system, or you a new to the whole process we can help!Attention all customers! Whether you're a repeat customer, a new homeowner, or someone unfamiliar with duct systems, we are here to help. No matter your level of knowledge about your heating and ventilation system, we have the expertise to assist you!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Starbucks stores are the best. Their dust accumulation is coffee dust!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Buyer Beware! Make sure you are comparing apples to apples! There are a lot of 'sneaky' companies out there trying to lure you in on a super cheap coupon. Cleaning your HVAC System is an investment. Every 5 to 6 years. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Make sure they are licensed, bonded and insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Are you planning any construction or remodeling projects? It's important to have your system cleaned after the work is complete. 2. Do you have registers that are glued down? These will need to be unstuck for cleaning to take place.
